4 hour hair apt!!!

I had a hair apt with my friend Jamie tonight at 5:30. We were just doing color, so I figured it would take a couple hours and then I could swing by trader joes to get my last minute items for the wine party AND go to the gym afterwards.... WRONG! I was at the salon until 9:30!! It was crazyness, but when you want crazy color that's what happens, it also doesn't help that I have a shitload of hair to mess with! Anyways it took so long because we had to bleach out my pink before we could re-dye (and had to wash and dry in between those 2 steps!) Jamie is an AMAZING colorist though and if you ever need your hair did, she's your girl! The first couple pictures are of the in between bleaching and re-dyeing... the color was sooo funny we had to take a couple pics! Enjoy!

One of Eli's favorite things to do is be in the car with the windows rolled down. He just laughs and sticks his hand outside. I love it and today he was just sooo happy I had to snap a few pictures of him! I love sunny, happy afternoons with Mr. Man.

Today Eli (lil man I nanny for) had a Doctors Apt, so Trinette (mom) and I both went and took separate cars because she wanted to leave from there to go to work. Everything went fine with the apt (Minus ALL the coughers in the lobby... we just kept holding our breath!! No Pig Flu for us!) Anyways we go to leave and both immediately just started laughing when we saw my car. I mean could this GEO be ANY closer?! I literally couldn't get to my door... and trust me I tried just to make a point! A geo has GOT to be one of the smallest cars on the market, yet this dumb ass driver parked like it was an SUV that didn't have enough space!! So Trinette and I snapped a few pictures and then she laughed at me while I crawled over the passenger seat so I could drive off. Seriously I don't understand people.

I have a new roommate! her name is Carrie, she grew up in Montana and moved in at the beginning of April. So far we have had lotsa fun together and get along great. I am so happy that it worked out the way it did. I think it helped that when I posted a couple things online I was VERY picky whos emails I even replied to. In fact I only replied to 2... Carries and one other lady who I didn't even meet. We have spent lotsa time together exploring Vancouver, making dinners and drinking in Portland! She gets along great with my other girlfriends too, so it all good! Just thought Id introduce you to her!

Hope everyone is having a fab April. I have just been working my butt off. I'm still thinking about finding a 2nd job so that I can save up for Oct. when I start school full time and can only work part time. I'm being a little lazy about it though... plus Ive been doing SUPER good about working out! (4-5 days a week) I'm scared that I wont be able to keep that up if I have a 2nd job!

I leave for Vegas on May 7th! Super pumped about that. Breanne, Erika and I are going. We will be going to the DMB and Jason Mraz concert and celebrating Bre's birthday. Plus its Erika's first time so we are VERY excited to pop her Vegas cherry!

Aly, Chris, Corbin, Eli and I all made a trip to the Zoo today! It was a really good day. It wasn't too hot and was just a little cold, which wasn't bad. Most of the animals were out and both Corbin and Eli had a blast. We took lots of cute pictures, so I'll post them soon.

I promise to start blogging more... I still have some random stories that need to be written out. Oh its my off seasons (winter/spring) for dating... but my on seasons are almost here (summer/fall) sooooo I should have some good dating stories soon too!! =)
